Parenting Seminar 1

Alex Patricio and his daughter Kristine speak about the legacy that parents leave with their children and the knowledge that child must gain to make the most of that legacy. This seminar looks at things more important than money and examines what legacy really means. This is a free event.

Anne Hill from Focus on the Family-Australia (read more about Anne in the side-bar) will be our guest speaker for this seminar. This second seminar in the series focuses on the important role that the family and indeed the parents play in shaping this very generation.
This is a free event, however seats are limited and we request that you register in order that we may ensure enough seating for participants.

About Anne Hill
Anne Hill has spent several years in program delivery in the public health arena. For the last three years she has been involved in the development and implementation of The Focus on the Family Australia program, Starting Points: a skills development program for parents and caregivers of 0-4 year olds. The program has been rolled out nationally in 2006. Anne has been the primary trainer of accredited facilitators in this strengths- based community program. She also has extensive experience in team building, conflict resolution and related management fields.

Anne is passionate about intentional parenting and lives in Melbourne with her husband Railton and three teenage children. She is a keen member of her local community and team leads the Religious Education program at a local primary school. She is also involved in other community ministry focuses at the Salvation Army where they worship.

Parenting Seminar 3

Peter and Christine Kairuz share in this second seminar of the series that focuses on the value of and the ministry that is Christian parenting. This is a free event, however seats are limited and we request that you register in order that we may ensure enough seating for participants.

About our Peter and Christine Kairuz
Peter Kairuz is an elder of the Lighthouse Christian Community, a sister church of Word for the World located in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City Philippines. He is the Chief Operating Officer of Christian Broadcasting Network–Asia and concurrently holds the following roles: President of Operation Blessing (Philippines); Director of Asian Centre for Missions.
Peter is co-host of the Christian television program, 700 Club Asia. He is an active leader of the Christian community in the Asian region, a faithful husband, loving father to 5 children, and a doting grandfather to 1 granddaughter.

Since Januay 2007, Bro Peter has gone full time doing God's work. His three sons now run their business, Transglobe Logistics International. Since becoming a follower of Christ, he has always applied Godly principles in the affairs and conduct of their businesses with the involvement of his children and family.

Christine Kairuz is the ministry head of the Prayer and Intercessory Group of the Lighthouse Christian Community which takes its roots since involvement with the same ministry at Word for the World Makati. She is also a Bible study teacher and an outreach leader at the Marillac Hills (home for sexually abused girls between ages 6 and 17 years. This same Ladies group also has also ministered to the military men involved in the Oakwood mutiny in Makati. Most of them now have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Christine graduated from the University of the Philippines and worked with Philippine Airlines as a flight attendant and in-flight trainer. She mothers 5 children from Peter and a doting grandmother to 1 granddaughter.
