This year Word for the World celebrates thirteen years of ministry in Australia. Our anniversary theme is Serving God’s Purpose in This Generation (Acts 13.36a). Our guest will be Peter Kairuz, chief operating officer of the Christian Broadcasting Network in Asia, head of ministries such as Operation Blessings (Philippines) and co-host of the 700 Club in Asia. He will share about the part that we, the people in faith, play in serving God’s purpose in this generation.

This is a free event and is also Sunday service. Everyone is definitely welcome.

About our speaker
Peter Kairuz is an elder of the Lighthouse Christian Community, a sister church of Word for the World located in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City Philippines. He is the Chief Operating Officer of Christian Broadcasting Network–Asia and concurrently holds the following roles: President of Operation Blessing (Philippines); Director of Asian Centre for Missions.

Peter is co-host of the Christian television program, 700 Club Asia. He is an active leader of the Christian community in the Asian region, a faithful husband, loving father to 5 children, and a doting grandfather to 1 granddaughter.
Since Januay 2007, Bro Peter has gone full time doing God's work. His three sons now run their business, Transglobe Logistics International. Since becoming a follower of Christ, he has always applied Godly principles in the affairs and conduct of their businesses with the involvement of his children and family.
